Opinion and First Person
In common with many journalists, Patricia regularly plunders her own life for material. Although you won’t find her indulging in tabloid-style confessionals (and her children remain, at their insistence, firmly off-limits), she’s usually willing to reveal some less than flattering observations about herself – for the right fee, of course.
Patricia is rarely short of an opinion, too, and will sound off on most topics, on demand and on time.

Five inches of platformed, strappy fabulousness in gold, acid green and black patent. Ridiculous, gorgeous and totally not me. I'd always been a sensible shoes kind of girl and happy to stay in the background.
Godmother of all fixations
I would be a fabulous godmother. I’m brilliant at remembering birthdays, I’m a gifted shopper, I’m solvent (just about), I wear great shoes (an important factor) and I’m just naughty enough to be the fun one. I’m even christened and confirmed. I tick all the boxes.
Why we should hang on to our teenage diaries
